Alright so last night was one of the best nights I've had in awhile. It was freaking fun. We started the evening with me leaving work early cause lets be honest I was sick and tired of the bull shit that goes on there. So I went to Pizza Factory to meet up with Karli, Amanda, and Jillian. The fun has just begun. At the table we decide to watch a scary movie. "The Haunting in Connecticut". Movie was pretty scary. Not the scariest thing I've seen in my life but still pretty freaking creepy and gives you the chills. Well that wasn't good enough for Jillian and myself...we needed more scary. We felt to keep on the same track of the haunted house deal and rented "Amittyville Horror". Adding to the scary is we were at Blockbuster and the cashier goes, "Are you Steve?". I have no idea who this girl was but she knew who I was but luckily Amanda knew who she was...but what the hell...Anywho. The picture above is a picture that the History channel offered when they were doing a documentary of the home. According to the story surrounding this picture...there was no one in the house except the film crew and one of the photographers was going through the house taking pictures. The photographer claims that he felt a chill and like someone was watching him. When he developed the pictures he saw the picture of the little boy. So just the story can scare someone without watching the movie but we decided to watch the movie influenced by the story. Now take scary stories for what they are worth but I think there are times when the two worlds cross and in some places it might be more frequent than others. Anywho we watched that movie and I'm now scared to ever wake up at 3:15 am. If you have seen the movie or read the story you'll know why 3:15 am is so significant. After that we had the brilliant idea to walk through a graveyard! Yeah that's right...we already had the thrilling scary movies and now we needed some real life adventure of walking through a graveyard. So Jillian and I head out on our adventure. We went to one graveyard but that one was fenced off and we felt being caught in there would make someone fussy. Well I remembered a graveyard by Peties house that had no fence so we headed to American Fork. We both felt pits in our stomach as we reached closer to the graveyard. In the graveyard we started walking up the trail and got more and more creeped out the closer we got. The weather even changed drastically to a cold but no wind or anything could explain why it suddenly got cold. We mustered the courage to press on and the weather went back to the summer heat that was suppose to be there. We took some pictures but my camera was being fussy trying to take pictures with no light. Then we saw a cat randomly walking through the graveyard. Strange movements around us. And we saw this windmill on one of the grave plots that was spinning way fast as if there was a strong gust of wind moving through...there was no wind. We moved toward the windmill and when we got close it stopped...then proceeded to start moving again. That was way creepy. Then we felt like we had enough and called it a night. But seriously so much freaking fun!Saturday, July 18, 2009

Wow, way to deter people from saying hi if they know who you are. Not that you used to be in my ward or anything. I know a bunch of people who know you, and who have dated you (Karli, Lacie, Lindsay). I also am good at faces. So that's who the hell I am.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, this is my blog ID so if you want to see Incubus pictures or videos, they're on there.
haha! Sorry!
