So I recently had the chance to go to California for a best friends wedding. Every time I go down there my friend Jimmy wants to go to the old mental institute to see if some haunted thing can happen. Well this time we decided to go late one night. It was a foggy night and we didn't really know what would happen. I had been there a few times before walking around and it was creepy but nothing really happened. This time was different.
We began walking around the parts that are still in the same condition as the mental institute was left as. Lots of the school has been changed into a college but parts of the school are still the creepy mental institute. We walked around the outside and then decided to wander into a open court yard. Upon approaching the court yard we heard tapping on the pipes. It was interesting because the tapping was so irregular that it couldn't be caused by a machine or anything. As we walked past the wall it seemed to follow us. After that we walked out to this hall way. When walking down the hall way the tapping grew louder and there was banging around us. We walked down the hall and the noises seemed to follow us as we walked up and down the hall. Jillian and I started to walk up a dark stair case but the doors above us were shut so we couldn't continue on. The noises got more intense as we approached a door in the dark. As we started to leave (and left quite briskly) the pounding and banging got louder and seemed to follow us. It felt as if someone was watching us. We left the mental institute with a creepy feeling.
I been doing some reading from ghost hunters about the school and some people have said that its by far one of the scariest places they have ventured in. The tapping and banging can be heard by many people and it seems to follow you everywhere you go. Also people with recorders have recorded hearing voices whispering things like, "Don't go in there" and such things as that. So if you are ever looking for a little ghost hunting i think that's a good place to start. Enjoy.
